According to information on the USA Mercedes-Maybach website, Wednesday, August 13, this luxury sedan was made in honor of California's coastal views and will produce only 25 units and are all scheduled to arrive at US dealers this fall.

The exterior design of the S680 Emerald Issue Edition immediately attracted attention with a unique two-tone color scheme. The bottom body is coated with a Moonlight White Metallic Manufacturing color, inspired by white sand on Pebble Beach Beach. Meanwhile, the top is painted with the Mid Ireland Green Metallic Manufacturing color, which is a tribute to Monterey's typical cypress tree. This display is beautified with a luxurious chrome accent and 21-inch FORged rim "Champagne Flute" which is also two-tone colored.

A luxurious impression continues in the cabin, which is made with the best material. The entire interior is covered in Nappa Light Brown's hand-tuned skin, combined with the headliner of Nappa Black's skin with an elegant diamond pattern. The car is also equipped with a trim Manufacturing Black Economy Lacquer, a special door placard, and an exclusive badge "EDition Emerald Scale 1 of 25" on the center console.

Not only that, the comfort of rear passengers is guaranteed with the Executive Rear Package Plus. This package includes two individual back seats separated by long center consoles, folding tables, pillows, small refrigerators, and even packaged champagne glasses. Uniquely, this car is equipped with an Air Balance system that spreads a distinctive aroma, a mixture of lidar, cypress, and special concocted sea salt.

Heavy V12 Machine Performance

Behind its luxury, S680 Emerald Issue Edition retains tremendous power. This car is powered by a 6.0-liter V12 twin-turbo engine that produces 621 hp and 899 Nm torque. The machine is combined with an automatic transmission of nine accelerations and a driving system for all wheels, allowing the sedan weighing 2,425 kg to shoot from 0-96 km/hour in just 4.5 seconds.

Although the official price has not been announced, it is estimated that this exclusive variant is many times more expensive than the standard S680 model priced from 240,500 US dollars (around Rp3.8 billion).
