MG4 Latest Generation EV Will Enter Australia, Will Indonesia Follow?

JAKARTA - MG has opened its latest generation MG4 ev pre-sales in China, which are priced from 73,800 yuan or around Rp168 million. The model is also confirmed to enter Australia.

Berdasarkan laporan dari Drive, dikutip Selasa, 12 Agustus, MG4 ev generasi terbaru bergerak roda depan akan hadir di ruang pamer di Australia antara April dan Juni tahun depan, sebagai pintu baru untuk jajaran hatback listriknya itu ke pasar yang lebih luas.

CEO of MG Motor Australia Peter, said that a new front-wheeled car for 2026 will be a different vehicle.

"The new front-wheeled car for 2026 will be a completely different, perfect vehicle for urban areas," he said.

The price itself has not been confirmed but the Australian MG is currently promoting a new front-wheeled driven model with a battery capacity of 43 kWh and 54 kWH.

Referring to the Chinese market, the latest generation MG4 ev does come with a myriad of changes. Starting from an increasing dimension compared to the previous generation.

In addition, the interior update also includes the MG logo with a redesigned LED backlight, an arrow-shaped rear light that does offer a modern impression.

This car is also equipped with advanced connectivity from Oppo which allows integration into mobile phones to run smoothly. For the Chinese market itself, this car offers a range of 437-530 km in CLTC counts.

Will it enter Indonesia? Yes, of course, it is highly anticipated because currently MG already has a best-selling first generation model, and at the GIIAS event yesterday offered a variant with a longer reach.
