LBX Lexus Morizo RR Limited Edition Debut October 13 In Japan, Only 100 Units

JAKARTA - After being first introduced at the Tokyo Auto Salon last year, Lexus announced the launch of a limited edition of the high-performance SUV LBX Morizo RR, which will debut in Japan on October 13, 2025.

Quoting from the Paultan page, the limited version of the Lexus LBX Morizo RR in Japan will be available only 100 units. Offered exclusively in the Land of the Rising Sun, 70 units will be sold through Lexus dealers across the country. Meanwhile, the remaining 30 units will be sold in public, as well as through the lottery system.

Some lucky people will pay 7.3 million yen or around IDR 796 million for this Edition, which is much more expensive than the usual LBX sold in Japan.

This special version of LBX does not get any performance improvement, so it is still equipped with a three-cylindrical turbocharged 1.6 liter gasoline engine also available on GR Yaris and GR Corolla.

The above engine is combined with an automatic transmit of Direct Shift eight acceleration or manual iMT six acceleration. The machine is capable of producing 300 hp of power at 6,500 rpm and 400 Nm of torque from 3,250 to 4,600 rpm.

Other mechanical components are identical to the standard Morizo RR, as well as some touch of aesthetics taken directly from the Bespoke Build, which was launched last July and also limited to only 100 units.

From Bespoke Build, there is an optional yellow brake and an Ochre color interior. For a 19-inch rim alloy wrapped in the 235/45R19 tires. There is also a emblem on the instrument panel as a sign of the exclusivity of this model.

It is said that its development involved the boss of the parent company, namely the Chairman of Toyota Motor Corporation, Akio Toyoda or nicknamed the 'Morizo' or 'Master Driver'. His own nickname is embedded in this edition of LBX.
