Chery Appears at GIIAS 2025 with the Launch of the TIGGO Cross Sport and CSH Hybrid

JAKARTA - PT Chery Sales Indonesia (CSI) marked the first day of the 2025 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) by launching the TIGGO Cross CSH Hybrid and the Chery TIGGO Cross Sport 1.5T.

Designed with futuristic touches and cutting-edge technology, both models complement the phenomenal success of the Chery TIGGO Cross, which debuted in Indonesia in February 2025.

Inheriting the iconic DNA of the TIGGO Series, inspired by the prowess and toughness of the tiger, the Chery TIGGO Cross CSH Hybrid & Sport 1.5T is ready to become the primary choice for consumers seeking a stylish, robust, and classy vehicle to accompany them on every journey.

Rifkie Setiawan, Head of Brand & Marketing Department at PT Chery Sales Indonesia, stated that Chery is proud to launch the TIGGO Cross CSH Hybrid & Sport 1.5T as an SUV that meets the needs and demands of the Indonesian people for a more fuel-efficient, more powerful, faster, more comfortable, safer, more spacious, and smarter vehicle.

"These two latest variants are present based on the aspirations of Indonesian customers, and complement the previous TIGGO Cross variant, and also show Chery's strong ambition to lead a new era of mobility in Indonesia, by completing the innovative and sustainable NEV range through Chery Super Hybrid technology, both Strong or Full Hybrid and Plug-in Hybrid," he said, at the launch, at ICE BSD Tangerang, Wednesday, July 24.

In detail, the Chery TIGGO Cross CSH is equipped with a second electric motor that functions as a generator to charge the 1.8 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery. The entire system is mated to a Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT) that offers smooth and responsive performance.

Meanwhile, behind its aggressive appearance is a 1,498 cc turbocharged engine (1.5TCI) paired with a 6-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (6DCT) capable of producing a maximum power of 147 PS and peak torque of 210 Nm. This combination enables acceleration from 0–100 km/h in just 9.9 seconds, a fairly responsive figure.

Pricing-wise, these two latest crossover SUVs are offered starting at IDR 299.9 million for the TIGGO Cross Sport 1.5T and IDR 319.8 million (OTR Jakarta) for the Chery TIGGO Cross CSH Hybrid.
