C11 Leapmotor Gets Update In China, What Has Changed?

JAKARTA - The automotive manufacturer from China, the Leapmotor, officially launched an update from the Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) C11 by offering better specifications.

Quoting from the CNevpost page, Monday, July 14, the C11 Leapmotor who received an update is priced at 149,800 yuan or around Rp340 million higher than the previous edition which was at 148,800 or Rp377 million.

Leapmotor offers five updated C11 variants, built on the latest 3.5 Leap platform, including two variants of long-range electric vehicles (EREVs) and three variants of battery electric vehicles (BEVs).

This vehicle is a medium SUV of five passengers with a length of 4,780 mm, a width of 1,905 mm, and a height of 1,658 mm, with a wheelbase of 2,930 mm. Only the height is different now 1,675 mm, the rest is the same.

In specifications, the new C11 EREV is equipped with a 1.5 liter engine and a rear motor with a maximum power of 200 kW and a maximum torque of 320 Nm. C11 EREV can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.6 seconds and support a maximum speed of 170 km/hour.

The updated C11 EREV comes with a 41.7 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, offering a pure electric range of 300 km according to CLTC standards. With the full fuel tank and fully charged battery, the combined range reaches 1,220 km.

Meanwhile, the BEV variant is equipped with a maximum power of 220 kW and a maximum torque of 360 Nm, which is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/hour in 6.1 seconds. This BEV variant supports a maximum speed of 190 km/hour.

The updated C11 BEV is equipped with an 81.9 kWh-capacity LFP battery pack, offering a CLTC range of 640 km.

The updated C11 legotor will be one of the refresher models launched by Leapmotor intensively this year, following the launch of an updated C16 SUV, an updated C10 SUV, updated T03, and a new B10 SUV.
