JAKARTA - Suzuki launched a special edition model named Jimny 55\'eme Anniveresaire for the French market which will be the farewell to this iconic series on the blue continent.

It is certain that the car will no longer be sold in Europe following strict emission regulations. Not only that, this small, tough car is also available on a limited basis.

Launching from Motor1, Friday, June 20, the manufacturer with the "S" logo only sells them as many as 55 units in France according to the existence age of the Jimny series globally.

In terms of appearance, Jimny 55\'eme Anniversare has similarities to Jimny Horizon which is sold in Germany. The difference is that the 55-year edition is developed based on the French model version, Privilege V.U. and is equipped with several exclusive features other than standard equipment.

Another interesting thing, the special Jimny buyer will get 4x4 special training to improve off-road skills so that they can maximize the potential of this car.

Each unit will be equipped with a unit number and a celebration plaque under the center console.

The exteriors are offered in a number of different color choices, namely White, Jungle Green, Bluish Black, and Medium Gray.

Suzuki Jimny 55th Anniversary is implanted with a 1.5 liter 4-cylinder engine combined with a five-copy manual transmission so that it can pump up to 102 hp.

This car is marketed in France for 28,955 euros, equivalent to IDR 544.9 million.
