JAKARTA - British auto brand Land Rover presents a refresher on the Discovery Sport model which is said to have a more dynamic and modern look.
Not only that, but the urban SUV was also present in two special editions, namely Metropolitan and Landmark, accompanying the choice of Discovery S.
"Discovery Sport now feels more dynamic, more luxurious, and more individual than ever, with the introduction of our new Metropolitan and Landmark editions, and additional accessories package options," said Head of Discovery Strategy, Product and Services, Joelle Taylor on Land Rover's official website, Thursday, June 12.
The Metropolitan option offers a mix of luxury with sporty elements. There is the words "Atlas Silver Discovery" on the engine hood and backdoor as well as a front and rear shield with a Silver Idens layer.
The front ring is equipped with a distinctive silver foil insertion, accompanied by a new 20-inch Diamond Turned 20-inch alloy rim with an optional Gloss Black coating.
Then, the Landmark variant celebrated the existence of Discovery for more than 35 years. This car was immediately recognized by the appearance of the "Discovery Sport" logo on the aluminum landed plate, next to the words "Landmark".

Meanwhile, the Dynamic S type has a sporty appearance compared to other parts of the body, gripper, and lower bumper layered with Gloss Black.
Each variant of Discovery Sport, has a digital instrument cluster and a gear transfer pedal mounted on the steering wheel as standard, while the center console has a 11.4-inch arch glass touch screen.
Land Rover did not explain the specifications in detail, but Discovery Sport is available in all-wheel drive (AWD) drive with Plug-In Hybrid and Mild-hybrid.
For the Plug-In Hybrid (PHEV) option, Discovery Sport can run with pure electricity as far as 61 km according to the WLTP cycle and the battery can be charged from 0 to 80 percent in just 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, the choice of mild-hybrids is equipped with the operation of start-stop functions for in-city use with a 48V system that has improved in performance and fuel efficient.
Land Rover also inaugurated sales at the latest Discovery Sport in the UK at prices ranging from 45,440 (Rp1,003 billion).
