JAKARTA - Honda's single brand holder (ATPM) agent in Indonesia, PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) has officially launched the latest HR-V with advanced hybrid technology called HR-V RS e: HEV.

This car has a hybrid driver who is claimed to be efficient in fuel which can reduce dependence on emissions.

Because it has this system, the company is optimistic that the revenue regarding HR-V RS e:HEV will be good from Indonesian consumers.

Sales and Marketing & Aftersales Director of PT HPM, Yusak Billy said that his party is targeting sales of at least 2,000 units per month despite uncertain market conditions.

"We are targeting around 2,000 units per month. But, it all depends on market conditions, which are now full of challenges," Billy said when answering reporters' questions in Jakarta, Tuesday, June 10.

He is also confident that HR-V RS e: HEV will become a leader in its class as the best-selling technology SUV medium, continuing the trend it has occupied by its predecessor.

"HR-V has become a leader in its class. Especially with this e:HEV that consumers have been waiting for, we are sure consumers will accept it well and can remain a leader in their class," Billy explained.

PT HPM inaugurated the sale of HR-V RS e: HEV at a price of Rp488 million, then type e: HEV worth Rp449 million, and pure gasoline costs Rp399 million. All prices include On The Road Jakarta.

This car is powered by an i-VTEC 1.5 liter naturally-assisted engine that produces 106 ps and 127 Nm of torque and can drive the front wheel at high speed thanks to the ignition coupling.

The heart is combined with a 131 ps electric motor and 253 Nm torque, resulting in fuel consumption being claimed to be up to 25.5 km/liter.
