Suzuki Furnx Officially Launches In Indonesia, Prices Start At IDR 200 Million

JAKARTA PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales (SIS) officially launched its newest model, Suzuki Efronx, on Wednesday, May 28. The presence of Tronx adds to the vibrant Indonesian automotive market, as well as strengthens the ranks of Suzuki products in the compact SUV segment which is now increasingly in demand.

President Director of PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales, Minuru Amano, expressed his enthusiasm when introducing the latest global model. According to him, Tronx is not only a vehicle, but also a representation of Suzuki's new move in Indonesia in supporting the company's global strategy.

"Today we are proud to launch global products. This is not just a vehicle, but also part of our new journey in Indonesia," Amano said at the launch which took place in Kuningan, South Jakarta.

In terms of design, the Suzuki Furnx comes with a distinctive atmosphere of the Coupe SUV that is visible on the curved back roof lines, giving a dynamical and modern impression. On the front, the SUV appears prominent with a large fanfare of the Chrom that reinforces its stylish appearance. In dimensions, the front of the front is 3.995 mm long, 1,765 mm wide, 1,550 mm high, and wheelbase 2,520 mm, making it quite compact but still spacious inside.

The interiorfront is designed with a mix of burgundy and black colors, giving a luxurious and sporty impression. Some parts of the cabin are also wrapped in soft touch materials to improve comfort. Not to forget, modern features are also embedded like a 9-inch touch screen that already supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, head-up display, to wireless chargers that further pamper the driver.

Regarding the kitchen runway, Suzuki frontx offers two choices of engines. The GL variant is equipped with a K15B coded engine with a capacity of 1.5L 4-cylinder VVT, while the GX and SGX variants use a K15C engine powered by Suzuki's flagship hybrid mid technology, namely Smart Hybrid Vehicle by Suzuki (SHVS), to provide better fuel efficiency as well as a responsive performance.

Fronx is offered in three variants, namely GL for IDR 259 million (MT) and IDR 271 million (AT), GX for IDR 276 million (MT) and IDR 293.3 million (AT), and SGX for IDR 319.9 million (AT). Interestingly, Suzuki provides a special discount offer of IDR 10 million for consumers who make orders before next September.

With a combination of attractive designs, modern features, and high efficiency thanks to hybrid technology, Suzuki frontx is ready to be a promising new choice in the Indonesian compact SUV class.
