BYD Atto 3 Has A New Variant, The Price Is Much Cheaper

JAKARTA - PT BYD Motor Indonesia officially introduced the latest variant from Atto 3, or called the Advanced STD variant. This latest variant has received several adjustments which are claimed to answer the market needs of electric vehicles in Indonesia.

The presence of this new variant is part of BYD's commitment to expanding access to environmentally friendly mobility, as well as adjusting product specifications to the growing preferences of the Indonesian people.

President Director of PT BYD Motor Indonesia Eagle Zhao, revealed that as part of the company's commitment to supporting the adoption of electric vehicles BYD continues to listen to consumer needs.

"Through the presence of the latest variant of Atto 3, we want to reach more consumer levels. We believe that by providing relevant and affordable options, more and more people can experience driving," he said, in an official statement received, Tuesday, May 27.

So what are the changes compared to the existing variants?

The Advanced STD variant comes as a more affordable option for consumers who want to feel the sensation of driving an electric car from BYD. Some features in the Advanced variant have previously been simplified, such as the absence of a panoramic sunset, rooftop rail, wireless charger, and a number of active safety features such as Adaptive Cruise Control and Automatic Emergency Braking System.

However, this new variant still carries design and performance quality, including a 12.8-inch touch-screen rotable, an audio system with 6 speakers, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, NFC Digital Key & Bluetooth Key, Vehicle-to-Load Technology (VTOL) to 3.3 kW, to modern exterior designs with LED headlightstrip and Crystal LED headlights.

In addition, the new variant of BYD Atto 3 Advanced STD now comes with a new exterior color choice of Harbor Gray which complements other interesting colors such as Surf Blue, Sky White, and Cosmos Black.

For the price, the new variant from Atto 3 is priced at Rp390 million OTR Jakarta. When compared to the previous variant, for Advanced (Standard Range) there is a price of Rp470 million, and Superior is at Rp520 million.
