The Advanced Technology Behind The Comfort Of The New BYD Seal
Before discussing the driving taste, let's get acquainted with the latest technology embedded in this latest BYD Seal. One of the mainstay features is the DisSus-C (Intelligent Damping Body Control System) A smart suspension system that is able to adjust the level of subsidence in real-time, following the road contour and driving style of the driver.
The result? A much finer vehicle, more precise control, and high stability even as it bulldozes the uneven road surface.
Not only that, the technology of iTAC (Intelligent Torque Adaption Control) is also present to maintain vehicle traffic and stability in various road conditions. Meanwhile, in the highest variant, FSD (Frequency Selective Damping) technology works to absorb vibrations based on a certain frequency, providing a quieter and more comfortable driving experience.

Trying Out Performance At The Mandalika Circuit
Together with two other media colleagues and one professional instructor, the VOI team immediately tested the New BYD Seal 2025 at the circuit. The first test was the zigzag track to test the handling and the results were satisfactory. The car remained stable and steady when it turned, even at speeds of more than 40 km/hour. The traction felt strong and responsive.
Next, we tested the performance of the suspension on the bumpy track. The car managed to reduce the shock very well, maintaining comfort without losing control.
Not to forget, the acceleration test session is in the spotlight. From a stationary position, this car shot up to 160 km/hour in just seconds. For acceleration 0-100 km/hour, the time it takes is only 4.1 seconds, approaching the manufacturer's claim which is at 3.8 seconds. It really feels like driving an electric-powered sports car.
Tempting Specifications
As a modern electric sedan, BYD Seal 2025 offers an impressive range of up to 650 km (NEDC standard), thanks to a battery with a capacity of 82.56 kWh. Not only that, its DC fast charging feature allows an additional 200 km of range in just 15 minutes' practical solution for daily mobility.
The design is no less interesting. With the air drag coefficients of only 0.219 cd, this car appears aerodynamic and efficient. Plus the advanced 8-in-1 Powertrain driving system, the performance of this car is increasingly optimal with a power output of 390 kW and a peak torque of 670 Nm.
This combination of performance and efficiency allows Seal 2025 to jump from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds, and reach a maximum speed of 180 km/hour achievement matching the performance of high-end sports cars.
