JAECOO Will Bring The V23 SUV To Indonesia, Will Mejeng At GIIAS 2025

During a visit to China, the VOI team saw many interesting cars, one of which attracted attention was iCar V23, an electric SUV that offered a dashing impression because the design was like an off-road car.

Brand iCar itself is a sub-brand of Chery Automobile which also sells iCar 03 which in Indonesia is known as Chery J6. Interestingly, the car is planned to take the floor in Indonesia.

JAECOO Indonesia Country Director Max Zhou confirmed the presence of iCar V23, and will later be under Indonesia's JAECOO brand, and will even be introduced at GIIAS 2025 which will take place at the end of July.

"We plan to introduce it in Indonesia during GIIAS 2025 to many people," said Max.

In line with Max, JAECOO Indonesia's Head of Marketing Evan Anganantika also ensured that the model would come with the JAECOO brand in Indonesia.

"There is a change brought to Indonesia under JAECOO, later we will present and pursue this year at GIIAS and maybe still at left," said Evan.

iCar V23 Specifications in China

For the Chinese market, this car has actually launched, and comes with two types of driving. Starting from driving the rear wheel or RWD and driving all wheels or AWD.

The lowest variant of this car is equipped with an LFP 59.93 kWh battery capable of traveling 410 km, while for the driving of all wheels the NMC 81.76 KwH battery is embedded which is capable of producing a distance of 501 km in one charge.

Prices in China

For prices in China itself, iCar V23 is priced at a price of 110,000-150,000 yuan or around Rp. 240-328 million. The price above cannot be a reference for the Indonesian market, because automatically for the initial stage it will be assembled in a country from China.
