Cicon Barricade Car From Transformers: The Last Knight Enters Auction

JAKARTA Fans of the film Transformers, especially those who are fascinated by the antagonist character can now have the opportunity to have this charming Ford Mustang.

This car was specially modified to play Barricade, the iconicisicon police car in the film Transformers: The Last Knight (2017), is now available for auction.

Launching Carscoops, Saturday, April 26, the 2016 car appeared fierce with an aggressive custom body kit, complete with a dark blue police livery and a striking white graphics. Not to forget, the words "Keep Calm and Hail Megatron" adorn the back fender, replacing its classic slogan, "To Punish and Enslave". The car is also equipped with push bars on the front, strobo lights, and additional LEDs that make it appear ready to transform at any time. Other visual touches include ventilated engine caps, wide feder extensions, and large rear wings.

Although Transformers: The Last Knight may be the lowest-rated film in this franchise, the visual appeal of the Mustang Barricade is undeniable. Behind the intimidation display, there is a standard 5.0 liter V8 engine that produces 435 hp of power, combined with a manual transmission of six accelerations. More interestingly, this car has only traveled 800 miles (about 1,287 km), signaling that this car spends more time on the set than on the streets.

The sale of this car does not only cover the vehicle. Prospective owners will also receive various memorinalysis Transformers and official documents, some of which were signed directly by the director, Michael Bay.

The official price has not been announced by Curated, which currently offers this car, but one document lists its initial purchase price of 131,970 US dollars (Rp2.2 billion current exchange rates). For additional information, in 2021, this Barricade car was offered as part of Michael Bay's private collection, all of which consisted of four cars with a total price of 2 million US dollars (equivalent to Rp33.6 billion).
