Honda P7 Officially Launches, Electric Car With Tempuh Distance Advantage

JAKARTA - Honda and GAC officially launched the P7 electric car for the Chinese market, which starts at 199,900 yuan or around Rp457 million, and has an extraordinary distance.

Quoting from the Carnewschina page, Thursday, April 17, the design of the Honda P7 is not much different from that of the S7 which is an electric car that was born thanks to the collaboration with Dongfeng, which comes with a curved tap, hidden door handle and camera as a substitute for side rearview mirror.

But for the models born thanks to this collaboration with GAC, it has quite unique forward light, rear and bumper designs. Honda offers a choice of five colors for this model ranging from blue, silver, white, black and purple.

In dimensions, the Honda P7 comes with a length of 4,750 mm, a width of 1,930 mm, a height of 1,625 mm with a wheelbase of 2930 mm. In comparison, the wheelbase is 47 mm shorter than the updated Tesla Model Y.

After discussing the exterior, this time it entered the cabin area. The Honda P7 is equipped with a 9.9-inch LCD instrument panel, a center control screen consisting of two 12.8-inch and 10.25-inch screens. The Honda S7 infotainment system supports the functions of Apple CarPlay, Baidu CarLife, and Huawei HiCar. This car is equipped with a Honda Sensing drivering assistance system, and 16 Bose-branded speakers.

Speaking of the driving system, the Honda P7 is the same as the S7 where the entry level version has one electric motor that produces 268 hp and 420 Nm torque, the car is embedded with an NMC battery package with a capacity of 89.8 kWh which can produce a distance of 650 km in a CLTC count.

Meanwhile, the AWD version of Honda P7 offers a combined peak power of 469 hp and a torsion of 770 Nm. The pinned battery is also the same, and can go from 0-100 km/hour in just 4.6 seconds.
