Mazda6e Is Getting Closer To Indonesia, Appearing At BIMS 2025

JAKARTA - Mazda brought a surprise at the 2025 Bangkok International Motor Show (BIMS), which will take place from March 26 to April 6.

At the exhibition which took place at Impact Muang Thong Than, Mazda displayed various mainstay models such as the Iconic SP which is the concept of electric-powered compact sports cars, and the electric sedan Mazda6e which attracted quite attention.

Chief Executive Officer Mazda Sales Thailand Theer Pueamphongphan, revealed that Mazda has been committed to increasing the driving experience for customers.

"This year Mazda is ready to convey this vision more clearly. By implementing a customer-centric management strategy in every context and idea that believes in every detail of 'Joy Drives Lives' life is applied to create customer experience at every step to ensure that customers are happy and have good experience," he said as quoted from Mazda Thailand's official website, Wednesday, March 26.

In design, the model of Mazda 6's successor comes with a modern look where the front features a futuristic impression, especially a very sharp lamp area, while the back looks elegant. Mazda 6e also uses a beautiful two-colored rim that matches the black layer and silver trim on the side.

Specifications for the Thai market have not been disclosed, but when referring to the global market citing from the Top Gear PH page, this car comes with two available battery configurations. The larger 80 kWh battery comes with a maximum range of 552 km, while the smaller 68.8 kWh allows a range of 479 km.

Meanwhile, this electric car is also equipped with various smart functions including the Intelligent Drive System that supports driver driving needs. Then, manufacturers also provide technologies such as Accident Mitigation Technology and Smart Cabin with Voice, Touch, and gesture control, all of which aim to improve safety and comfort standards.

This car itself is also marketed in Europe where, for prices in the market of the blue continent, this electric sedan is estimated to be priced at around 45.000 euros (Rp751.1 million).
