VW Launches Teramont Pro Latest, Three-Baris SUV Worth IDR 600 Million

JAKARTA - A joint automotive company, SAIC-Volkswagen has officially expanded its lineup of models to the Chinese market by introducing a new 7-SEATER SUV called Teramont Pro.

This car has a typical European tough design and offers maximum functionality, so it can meet the needs of consumers of bamboo curtain countries who want vehicles with spacious spaces.

Reporting from CarNewsChina, Thursday, March 13, Teramont Pro has dimensions with a length of 5,158 mm, a width of 1,991 mm, a height of 1,788 mm, and a wheelbase of up to 2,980 mm.

Because it has a large size, Teramont Pro has a baggage capacity of 2,427 liters if the third row seat is folded electrically.

The interior offers excessive comfort with the presence of standard heating and ventilation functions. Meanwhile, driver seats have the ability to massage pneumatics and front passenger seats offer semi-reclined modes.

Not only focusing on convenience, its interior now has an intelligence system that comes from six screens equipped with dual AI sounds such as DeepSek and Wenxin Yiyan, allowing users to make arrangements in the cabin efficiently.

This large SUV is also equipped with a smart driving system from IQ. The latest generation plot, which supports a number of features consisting of Adaptive Cruise Control, Lever-Activationed Lane Change, and Automatic Obstacle Avoidance.

Then, VW also presents the IQ.Drive Parking Assistant system which helps drivers park their vehicles. This includes the presence of advanced Remote Parking functions.

Speaking of performance, Teramont Pro is armed with a fifth-generation VW engine, namely EA888 2.0T, which is paired with a dual-clutch transmission of seven accelerations that transmit 200 kW of power and a peak torque of up to 400 Nm.

With this heart runway, this car is claimed to be able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.6 seconds and have fuel consumption reaching 8.35 l/100 km.

The engine also works closely with other advanced systems, including Variable Geometry Turbocharger (VTG) and a high-pressure fuel system of up to 500 bars. It provides powerful performance but also meets the Euro 7 emission standard.

Questioning the price, the VW Teramont Pro is sold in the Chinese market at prices ranging from 269,900 yuan to 319,900 yuan (equivalent to Rp612.8 million to Rp726.4 million).
