Denza N9 Officially Produced Mass, Premium SUV With Advanced Technology From BYD

JAKARTA Denza, a premium brand from BYD from China, officially started mass production of its newest model, Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) Denza N9. This moment was marked by the launch of the first unit from the production line, affirming the seriousness of Denza in presenting high-tech SUVs.

"This model is packaged with advanced smart technology and safety features. The N9 Denza defines a new standard in the mobility of large premium SUVs," Denza wrote on the Weibo page, quoted from CNEvpost, Monday, February 10.

Denza had previously conducted an N9 preview in October 2024. At that time, Denza's Head of Sales, Zhao Changjiang, revealed that the SUV would be powered by e3 BYD technology, a more concise version of the e4 BYD technology used in ultra-luxury cars.

This technology has previously been applied to Denza Z9GT, which debuted on September 20, 2024 as the first model with an e3 system. This technology was developed to improve driving safety and convenience.

"This model has been gradually sent to Denza showroom in China," Zhao said.

Denza N9 comes with a choice of six seats with a length of 5,258 mm, a width of 2,030 mm, a height of 1,830 mm with a wheelbase of 3,125 mm. This model is powered by three electric motors, with a motor front with a peak strength of 200 kW and two motorbikes behind each with a magnitude of 240 kW.

Currently, Denza already has several models in its portfolio, including SUV N7, sedan Z9, hatchback Z9GT, and MPV D9. Meanwhile, for the Indonesian market, Denza has just presented MPV D9 which is priced at Rp950 million.
