Honda City Apex Edition Launches In India, What's Special?

JAKARTA - India's Honda Cars officially launched the City Apex Edition sedan for the local market, the model comes with several increases in cosmetics both from the exterior and interior sides.

Quoting from the Auto Car India website, Monday, February 3, Vice President of Marketing and Sales of Honda Cars India Kunal Behl, said Honda City had become a very successful brand in India and enjoyed aspirational status among customers.

"This has consistently become a strong business pillar for Honda Cars India. With the introduction of the Honda City Apex Edition, we aim to offer our customers more sophisticated and premium packages," he said.

So what are the exterior updates in the Apex edition? For the exterior area, this sedan gets an update on the badge, front stage and cover baggage.

A more significant increase occurred in the interior by finishing the imitation skin on the dashboard, door pads, and the center console area, also receiving seat sarongs and exclusive pillows of the Apex Edition.

This edition also offers a lighting package of about seven colors around the instrument panel and in the door area. The colors presented can be adjusted according to the wishes of Honda City sedan users. This option can also be applied in the currently existing variants.

There is no change from the heart of the runway, Honda City continues with a 1.5 liter natural aspirationed gas engine measuring 121 hp which can be obtained manually with 6 speeds or a CVT 7 speed gearbox.

This model comes for trim V and VX options which are priced starting from 1,330,000 rupees for trim V or around Rp. 251 million, while for trim VX 1,562,000 rupees or Rp. 295 million.
