JAKARTA - Kia has prepared a new electric car model, namely EV2, which has been caught on camera several times, testing roads, both in South Korea and in Europe.

Based on a recent report from The Korean Car Blog, quoted on Saturday, February 1, it was revealed that the launch time of the electric car which is predicted to have this affordable price, where February 2026 is a predetermined time.

This assurance was expressed by the South Korean brand during an annual press conference some time ago, and revealed plans ahead for the launch of six new or updated car models.

The automaker also confirmed that the smallest Kia electric vehicle will be assembled at the Zilina Factory in Slovakia. Unfortunately, there is no detailed explanation regarding the model, both the specifications to the superior features offered.

Kia EV2's presence is claimed to be a new chapter of the company to realize EV mobility. Designed as an affordable but high-performance compact electric vehicle, EV2 is expected to make electric driving accessible to a wider audience.

There has been no design lattice for the model, but several times this car was caught on camera testing the road. In the test, this car features a sleek silhouette aimed at reducing air drag and increasing battery efficiency.

On the front, it is also equipped with modern LED lights that not only increase visibility, but also change the appearance of vehicles more sporty and modern. For the interior, it is expected to be more minimalist but still functional.

The car is also expected to come with advanced battery technology with a range of up to 480 km in one charge, to reduce user concerns over travel distance.
