Production Was Stopped, Official Images Of GWM Haval H7 Recently Revealed

JAKARTA - Great Wall Motor (GWM) seems to be preparing a lot of new things in 2025, including presenting a refresher for the Haval H7 SUV model.

Quoting from the Carnewschina page, Monday, January 6, the latest official H7 Haval image was revealed directly by General Manager Haval Zhao Yongpo, on the official Weibo website.

For the record, this new Haval H7 is different from the foreign version. For the overseas market it is the second generation Haval Big Dog model which is also expected to launch in Australia this year.

Back to Haval H7, previously the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) had revealed the specifications of the model, with a length of 4,780 mm, a width of 1,895 mm, a height of 1,725 mm with a wheelbase of 2,810 mm.

In design, this car offers a modern impression that can be seen on the front pinned with two lampbars flanking the 'Haval' logo, the spotlight is sharp which makes it look attractive. Meanwhile, on the back also comes with a long lampline and a short glass.

From the heart of the runway, this car adopts the Hi4 GWM technology and is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system consisting of a naturally assisted 1.5L engine and combined with an electric motor. The battery package embedded 27.54 kWh can provide a range of up to 126 km in CLCT counts.

As is known, Haval H7 was first launched in April 2016 and positioned as a formidable offroad vehicle. In the first year of its launch, this model sold nearly 50,000 units. However, H7 sales began to decline sharply due to the emergence of the Wey brand from GWM and the car has finally not been produced since 2021.

With the presence of the latest model, it means that Haval H7 will return to life with a new face and new engine. Its presence can also be an option to attract local automotive lovers who want tough vehicles.
