BMW Brings Two Models Of Latest High Performance To The Indonesian Market

JAKARTA - BMW Group Indonesia has officially expanded its BMW M product in the country by introducing M4 CS and M2 Special Edition. Both have a sporty appearance with an aggressive performance that is suitable for testing on racing tracks.

Not only introducing its newest product, but the brand also announced the expansion of the official dealer of this sub-brand to meet the demands of customers who can be contacted to BMW Eurokars, BMW Tunas, BMW Performance Motors Indonesia, and BMW Plaza.

BMW Group Indonesia President Director Peter Medalla said the expansion of this product dealer and expansion was his party's response to the high-performance car market in the archipelago.

"Last year, Indonesia reached its highest M market penetration rate globally, with one in ten BMW vehicles sold being a high performance model," said Medalla in a statement, Wednesday, October 30.

The latest M4 CS model carries chassis technology that has been adjusted so that engine performance can blend with its dynamic characteristics.

The car is powered by a number of personalized tunings and regulation of the wheelcamber, spring damping, and anti-roll rods specially made to optimize precision driving styles.

The manufacturer carries components made from Carbon Fibre-Reinforced Plastic (CFRP) that play a role in easing the weight of this vehicle. The carbon fiber roof is the main example, its light weight makes the center of gravity of the car closer to the road, thereby increasing pinning luminosity and dynamics.

The car is equipped with a fresh 6-cylinder engine that produces up to 550 dk of power or an increase of 20 dk compared to the M4 Competition Coupe M xDrive with a peak torque of 650 Nm. Thus, this sporty sedan can run from 0 to 100 km/hour in 3.4 seconds and 0 to 200 km/hour in just 11.1 seconds. This special edition M4 can run at a maximum speed of 302 km/hour.

Meanwhile, the BMW M2 Special Edition has a wild look with additional accessories from the BMW M Performance Parts, consisting of diffuse parts, mirror caps, air inlet, side panel cover trim, and many more.

This model has a compact dimension with a weight distribution of up to 50:50 which is balanced with advanced chassis combined with technology to provide convenience in terms of control.

With a segaris 6-cylinder engine, the BMW M2 Special Edition has a maximum power of 460 dk and a 550 Nm torque assisted by M Steptronic transmission of eight accelerations with Drivelogic as standard.

Supported by the performance of excellent engines and transmissions, the car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/hour within 4.1 seconds. With M Drive Professional and Adaptive M Suspension, the drivers feel a different driving sensation.

These two models are officially sold for the Indonesian market at a price of IDR 2.167 billion for the M2 Special Edition and IDR 2.990 billion for the M4 CS.
