Toyota Confirms Hilux Rangga Will Launch In Indonesia Mid-October

JAKARTA After appearing at the Auto Show several times without a clear price event, finally the official launch of the Toyota Hilux Rangga has been confirmed. This information was revealed through an official invitation received by VOI editors from PT Toyota Astra Motor (TAM).

In the invitation, TAM invited media colleagues to attend the launch of the All New Hilux Rangga, complete with the date and location of the event.

"We invite you to watch the launch of the All New Hilux Rangga," the invitation reads.

Hilux Rangga first stole public attention when it was exhibited at the 2023 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS). Since its appearance, this model has been awaited by many automotive fans. Are you one of them?

At the GIIAS 2024 event, Toyota has opened pre-booking for Hilux Rangga, as well as giving potential consumers the opportunity to try directly the vehicle. Although the official price has not been announced, the enthusiasts are very high.

"Until now, even though there has been no announcement of the price, Hilux Rangga has recorded around 450 pre-bookings," said Marketing Director of PT TAM Anton Jimmi Suwandi at that time.

Anton also revealed that the most popular variant is Hilux Rangga with diesel engines, both for manual and automatic transmission. Although complete data on orders has not yet been released, this trend shows that these products have succeeded in attracting consumer attention.

"We are still collecting details, but information from dealers shows that the M/T diesel variant is more dominant than the gasoline variant," added Anton.
