Using Automatic Transmission For The First Time, This Is The Official Price Of Toyota GR Corolla 2025

Toyota previously launched the 2025 GR Corolla model in August with a number of changes both in terms of performance and appearance. Now, the Japanese manufacturer has announced the price of this hot hatch.

Launching from the Toyota USA page, Wednesday, September 25, this model is offered in three different variants, namely the Core, Premium, and Premium Plus. Each trim offers a transmission of six manual accelerations and eight automatic accelerations.

The 2025 Corolla GR is priced starting at 38,860 US dollars (Rp587.3 million) for the basic variant of the Core with manual transmission to the most expensive Premium Plus with automatic gyrboks worth 47,515 US dollars (Rp718.1 million).

Compared to the previous version, this latest GR Corolla has several changes in its outer view, one of which is on the front bumper to increase cooling efficiency. These changes are needed to accommodate radiators, intercoolers, brake channels, additional cooling, and automatic transmission oil cooling.

In addition to the exterior, the manufacturer also revised parts of the suspension, including the addition of front and rear shock damping. Then, the installation point of the rear arm trailing arm was also raised in order to reduce the symptoms of the squat during acceleration and improve its control.

Built on the TNGA-C platform, the Glolla GR has a low center of gravity with tires from the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 235/40R18 wrapping an 18-inch black-klap rim on the Core and Premium variants as well as a black lava for Premium Plus.

In addition to increasing pleasure in driving, one of the world's leading brands also presents Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 safety features as a standard for all variants, including Pre-Collition System with Pedestrian Detection, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Road Sign Assist, Lane Tracing Assist, Automatic High Beams, and many more.

Moving to the front hood, all the Corolla GR types come with a G16E-GTS 1.6 liter turbo 3-cylinder engine that can pump up to 300 dk of power and a 400 Nm torque or larger than the previous version.

For the first time, GR Corolla is now here with automatic transmission. Toyota claims the system is designed to be very intelligent and can adjust dental changes to the driver's driving style.

Nevertheless, Toyota also presents a manual transmission option with updated couplings focusing on a sharper and more precise pedal operation sensation.

The hot hatch is expected to land on the US region's dealer network this fall or the end of this year.
