JAKARTA - The latest generation of Nissan Patrol was introduced in early September featuring a number of changes with more advanced technology than ever before.

Planned for markets for the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and other Middle Eastern countries, Nissan plans to expand the model to several markets including the Philippines in Southeast Asia (ASEAN).

Launching from Top Gear Philippines, Tuesday, September 24, the manufacturer based in Yokohama, Japan hinted at the appearance of four models for the Philippines International Motor Show (PIMS) 2024 which will take place on October 24-27.

Another interesting thing, one of the models features a very large and different silhouette than cars in general.

Seen in the shadow silhouette, the size and design do resemble the seventh generation Patrol with lines that are stronger and stiffer than other Nissan models.

Unfortunately, information about the appearance of this car in the Philippines is still limited. Meanwhile, its delivery to customers will begin in the Middle East by the end of this year. Then this will be continued throughout the world starting in 2025.

One of the interesting things in this full-size SUV is the engine. Powered by a 3.5 liter V6 twin-turbo engine, the heart of this runway can vomit 425 dk of power and 700 Nm of torque, an increase of 7 percent when compared to the V8 option in the previous generation.

The manufacturer from the country of sunrise also provides a 3.8 liter naturally assisted V6 engine which has 316 dk of power and 386 Nm of torque.

The tough impression of this car is supported by a number of elements, such as the V-Motion grip on the front which shows Patrol authority, firm C-pattered headlights, and 22-inch rims that increase driving ability on highways and off-roads.

Not only tough, Patrol also offers luxury and comfort to the interior by being equipped with various cutting-edge technologies. The cabinet is decorated with a new layered leather seat with details inspired by the traditional Japanese handicraft, Kumiko.

Features highlighted in the large SUV with standard panoramic sunsets, first and second row seats equipped with backbone technology inspired by NASA, as well as 64-color ambient lighting.
