Aston Martin Launches New Vanquish Model 2025

JAKARTA - Aston Martin is again presenting its top grand tourer, Vanquish, for 2025. This latest Vanquish offers outstanding performance with a new 5.2 liter twin-turbo V12 engine mounted in the middle of 835 PS and 1000 Nm torque at the highest speed of 344 km/hour.

Vanquish's new design has increased significantly compared to its predecessor, DBS Superleggera. Although still using the same core architecture, Vanquish has a wheelbase that is 3.1 inches longer than DB12.

While Vanquish's body parts are made entirely of carbon fiber. Launching Road&Track, September 3, Vanquish started with a project initiated by the company's executive chief, Lawrence Stroll, to create a special car for himself.

The design results proved to be more aggressive than the finer DBS.

"If I have to put this in the animal empire, it's basically a shark king," Reichmann, Aston's creative chief, told Road & Track.

On the back, Vanquish is equipped with a large carbon fiber panel between the lights, a feature that - like the black wing element on the Ferrari 12Cilindri.

Although the interior looks beautiful, but not too radical. Vanquish follows in the footsteps of DB12, Vantage, and DBX707 using the dashboard and new UI Aston Martin systems. Thus, Vanquish uses almost identical center console layouts, with a combination of physical control and a new 10.2-inch touch screen placed on top of it. The steering wheel layout, also equals DB12.

The new V-12 engine is an update of the 5.2 liter twin-turbo engine used on DB11 and DBS Superleggera. Aston says that the engine has a new low-inertial cylinder, camshaft, conrod, and turbocharger head. The machine is also equipped with an innovative "Boost Reserve" function to reduce lags, by allowing turbochargers to create an excess pressure that can be immediately released into the intake manifold in response to the large thrust demand.

The engine sound has also been carefully tuned. This new car buyer can choose between stainless steel and titanium systems.

For production, Aston Martin said that no more than a thousand new Vanquish units would be produced annually. Meanwhile, the issue of the price is not mentioned, but what is clear will be more expensive than the DBS Superleggera coup which is priced at 335,000 US dollars or equivalent to Rp5.2 billion.
