This Is The Dongfeng Box Electric Car, What Are The Specifications Like?

JAKARTA - Dongfeng Box or known as Nammi 01 in China was officially introduced in Malaysia, via Central Auto Distributors (CADB), a subsidiary of the Malaysian Malay Vehicle Importers and Traders Association (Pekema).

Quoting from the Paultan page, Thursday, August 22, the Dongfeng Box displayed in Malaysia is already in the form of a right steering wheel and is still a prototype or pre-production, not the final version.

Central Auto Distributors plans to sell this model in Malaysia called the E3 non-E2 (variant) model. Both, powered by one electric motor on the front which produces 95 PS (70 kW) and 160 Nm of torque, so that it can reach a maximum speed of 140 km/hour.

The difference between E2 and E3 models lies in the lithium battery capacity, where the basic model (E2) comes with a 31.45 kWh package with a distance of up to 330 km, while for those in Malaysia E3 which packs a larger 42.3 kWh battery, a slightly better fate with a range of 430 km.

Dongfeng has not disclosed the maximum DC charging input for the Box, saying only that battery charging from 30 to 80 percent takes about 30 minutes.

The same applies to E2 and E3, suggesting that E3 can support higher watts to offset larger capacities. This applies to AC charging input, which is only 3.3 kW for E2 and 6.6 kW for E3.

From the design side, this one electric car looks simple with the long front list that looks like it spreads to the light, and the logo is on the front. Meanwhile, the back also has the words Dongfeng with a round light display.

Entering the cabin looks futuristic with the use of layered imitation skin, there is a wide screen and also some physical buttons on the steering wheel, which makes it easier for users to control the vehicle.

There is no information on the price of this one car, but it is estimated that the price of this electric car is equivalent to BYD Dolphin Dynamic Standard Range which will indeed be its strong rival, which is in the 100,000 ringgit figure or around Rp356 million.
