Wuling New Confero From China Comes With Pure Electricity And EV Version

JAKARTA - Wuling is preparing an electric version of MPV Hongguang and the latest model will also get a long-distance version or EREV revealed at the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIT).

Quoting from the Carnewschina page, Monday, August 12, this car is actually already in Indonesia but its name has changed, not Hongguang, which is to become a Conference.

In specifications for the EREV version, Hongguang is equipped with a 1,500 cc gasoline engine capable of draining 98 cellphones. But the specifications were not disclosed but it is estimated that the electricity will run 43 km, with a capacity of 8.5 kWh.

Meanwhile, the pure electricity version has not been disclosed in detail, but it is estimated that it has a maximum range of up to 300 km, this figure is certainly not far from considering that some electric cars now average more than 400 km.

Currently, this one car gasoline version is sold in China starting from 46,500 yuan or around Rp103 million, while for the Indonesian market it is sold for Rp207 million.

In design, the EUV version of Wuling Hongguang, pure electricity and ICE is almost the same, it's just that the new model is equipped with a much larger windshield than the previous version.

Meanwhile, on the back, the minimalist design continues with a vertically arranged backlight and a large backdoor. The large backdoor allows loading and unloading of cargo comfortably. From the back view alone, it is almost impossible to tell the difference between whether the car is fuel-powered, expanding its range, or purely electric.

In dimensions, Hongguang 2025 has a length of 4,515 mm, a width of 1,724 and a height of 1,790 with a wheelbase of 2850 mm. What if the electricity and EREV veris are present in Indonesia? Of course, it is highly anticipated, especially since the current pure electricity version is only filled by BYD with the M6 model.
