Inchcape Brings Two E-Class Variants to GIIAS 2024, Take Peek at the Differences

TANGERANG - PT Inchcape Indomobil Distribution Indonesia has officially brought the latest generation of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class to the Indonesian market through the 2024 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) at ICE BSD, Tangerang. The manufacturer offers two variants of this luxury sedan, namely the E 200 Exclusive Line and the E 300 AMG Line.

Sales & Marketing Director of PT Inchcape Indomobil Distribution Indonesia Kariyanto Hardjosoemarto, said that the latest E-Class has set a new standard in terms of comfort and driving intelligence in the premium sedan market.

"This vehicle offers impressive comfort and the best-in-class entertainment system, ensuring a truly classy driving experience," said Kariyanto during a session with the media at ICE BSD, Tangerang, Monday, July 22.

Present in the E 200 Exclusive Line and E 300 AMG Line types, of course both offer several different equipment and advantages. What are they?

For the E200 Exclusive Line, this model has an exterior that has an elegant and luxurious impression typical of the brand. This sedan has a grill resembling the luxurious S-Class and the 'Standing Mercedes Star' badge near the hood which has become a characteristic of Mercedes-Benz.

To enhance the luxury element, the German manufacturer gave it 19-inch multi-spoke light alloy rims with a distinctive brand badge in the middle.

The interesting thing about this car is that the rear carries Mercedes-Benz logo patterned lights on both sides at once, which is the first time in its entire range of luxury vehicles.

The interior also has luxurious elements, such as a nappa leather steering wheel, a 14-inch high-resolution center screen, 64-color ambient light, iconic Mercedes-Benz badged dashboard trim, heated front seats, and Driving Assistance features.

From a technical perspective, this car is equipped with a 2,000 cc 4-cylinder engine producing 204 hp and 320 Nm of torque combined with a 9G-Tronic Automatic transmission.

For the E300 AMG Line trim, there are no significant changes compared to the E200 Exclusive Line. However, the exterior looks sportier and more dynamic than the original trim.

The front has a Mercedes-Benz star-patterned grille with a large brand logo while highlighting the premium heritage of Germany. The car is equipped with 19-inch AMG 5-twin spoke light alloy wheels.

The interior itself is decorated with a number of equipment from the AMG Line, climate front seats, and active ambient lighting. The rest, the features in the interior are similar to the Exclusive Line variant.

Compared to the Exclusive Line trim, the E 300 AMG Line has a greater power of up to 258 hp and 400 Nm of torque combined with a 9G-Tronic Automatic transmission.
