Toyota Land Cruiser 300 Will Be Refreshed Next Year, Carry A Hybrid System?

JAKARTA - Good news for lovers of the Toyota Land Cruiser 300. The car, which occupies the full-size SUV class, is rumored to be getting a refresh after it was first launched in 2021.

The refresher is not present as the latest generation, but a facelift. Of course this is not surprising considering Toyota wants to keep this SUV looking new. What do you think will be relieved about this car?

Best Car reported, Saturday, July 13, the current 300 generation Land Cruiser will receive an update in 2025 with a relatively small number of improvements, one of which is changes to the security system.

The Japanese manufacturer will embed a security system that can be integrated into the MyToyota application or also known as the Toyota Connect. However, the refresher presented is more than that.

Other improvements also include the driver assistance side of Toyota Safety Sense (TSS). Please note, Land Cruiser 300 currently does not have a newer version of TSS compared to the old 2.5 version.

Toyota claims the TSS 3.0 system has been upgraded to the camera sensor with better resolution and wider vision. In addition, the Pre-Collition System system is also upgraded and the Lane Tracing Assist is also added. The Adaptive Cruise Control feature is also improved which can work at all speeds.

Land Cruiser 300 will also get a number of updates to the engine. However, the changes are not in terms of horse power or torque, but an increase in terms of emissions.

Thus, this very large-dimensional car is still equipped with a 3.3 liter twin-turbo V6 diesel engine combined with a mid-hybrid system, so that it can produce up to 304 dk of power and 700 Nm of torque.

Unfortunately, there is no information regarding exterior changes and other elements in this latest Land Cruiser 300. However, it is certain that the car will be upgraded to its driving and safety capabilities.

Land Cruiser 300 is still being sold in several countries, one of which is Indonesia. Toyota-Astra Motor (TAM) offered it in two variants, namely VX-R at a price of IDR 2.5 billion and GR-S worth IDR 2.6 billion On The Road DKI Jakarta. Both are offered with strong diesel engines according to the characteristics of this series.
