JAKARTA - BMW has revealed the concept of Vision Neue Classe by the end of 2023. This car will be the forerunner of a number of new German brand EV models.
After its launch, several models caught on camera are being tested by adopting this concept, such as iX3 which is an electric version of X3. However, recently the manufacturer also apparently tested the latest X5 and iX5 with almost the same design.
Reporting from Carscoops, Tuesday, July 2, this SUV-style car looks walking with a camouflage sticker on it. However, this latest generation X5 design looks clearly like iX3 but with a larger dimension.
In addition, the original shape of the car looks quite clear with the front decorated with a smaller kidney grip with sharp lights such as the Neue Classe X concept. Other interesting features include flat door handles and the rear wing which reminds XM.
It is reported that both X5 and iX5 will be present in several variants. First, the car was caught on camera with a larger brake system with a striking red Kaliper as well as showing that this is a high performance version.
Then, the second car was caught on camera using a 22-inch rim which reportedly prioritized luxury or off-road advantage.
It is estimated that BMW will offer the X5 model in pure ICE and hybrid versions alongside iX5 is an electric vehicle (EV) line. Another possibility is that BMW will present the latest version of fuel cells (FCEV), iX5 Hydrogen using technology from Toyota.
