JAKARTA - Bentley will soon launch the latest generation from the Continental GT Speed. This luxury sedan comes with various improvements, especially in terms of performance.
Ahead of its global launch, the UK-based manufacturer Crewe revealed more details about the performance and advantages of this latest Continental GT Speed.
Through its official website, Thursday, June 20, Bentley announced that this car will not only be the most powerful in Bentley's history, but also an important milestone in their Beyond100 initiative, which aims to deliver sustainable luxury mobility.
The fourth generation of GT Speed Continental is equipped with the latest chassis technology. Its features include active all-wheelers (AWD) with torsion vectors, electronic differential limited slips, 48V electrically active anti-roll controls, and double valve damping.
Thus, this sedan not only offers luxury, but also the dynamics of driving for daily use. The new design and advanced technology complement the latest generation of this car, making it the hallmark of a modern Bentley car.
Bentley also claimed that the Continental GT Speed set an unofficial speed record in the world's longest and deepest underwater tunnel, Ryfylke, Norway, at its highest speed of 335 km/hour.
This GT Speed Continental will be equipped with a 4.0 liter V8 engine capable of generating 782 PS power and 1,000 Nm torque. With a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) system, this car can operate with pure power up to 80 km.
According to Bentley, this car only produces CO2 emissions below 50 g/km, making it one of the low emission Bentley models.
