Wuling Starlight EV Officially Launches In China, The Price Is Only IDR 200 Million

JAKARTA - Wuling officially launched the Starlight EV electric sedan at the Beijing Auto Show, which is present in two variants, namely the Creation 410 Standard Edition and the Co-Creation 510 Advance Edition.

Quoting from the Carnewschina page, Thursday, May 2, the lowest variant is priced at 99,800 yuan or around Rp233 million, while for the highest variant it touched 109,800 yuan or Rp246 million. Previously, the version (Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) was launched at a much cheaper price.

The design is not much different from the PHEV version, it's just that the front fasia comes with a closed design and the spotlight is sharper, making it look modern and sporty.

In dimensions, this car is the same size as the PHEV version where it comes with a length of 4,935 mm, a width of 1,860 mm and a height of 1,515 mm with a wheelbase of 2,800 equipped with an 18-inch starguide rim.

Entering the cabin, not much different from the PHEV version where it offers the impression of luxury thanks to a large 15.6-inch control screen. The highest variant is equipped with Ling OS which supports GPS navigation, OTA updates, and voice recognition controls.

Both 410 Standard Edition and 510 Advanced Edition are powered by the front single electric motor. The maximum power and peak torque are 200 Nm to 310 Nm each. When accelerating from 0 100 km/hour, it takes 7.3 seconds with the highest speed of 160 km/hour.

In addition, the 410 Standard Edition is equipped with an iron lithium lithium battery phosphate 41.9 kWh, providing CLTC cruising power of up to 410 km. As for the 510 Advanced Edition equipped with an iron lithium phosphate battery of 54.5 kWh, it offers a cruise range of CLTC 510 km.

In fast charging, it takes 15 minutes and about 20 minutes for both models to recharge from 30 to 80 percent each.
