The Latest Audi A3 Officially Launched, Offering Off-Road Style Variants

JAKARTA - Audi officially introduced a facelift version of the A3 model with a more aggressive design, offering convenience, and advanced technology.

Not only that, this four-ring logo manufacturer also introduced the A3 allstreet variant, an all-street crossover that features performances such as off-road vehicles with ground clearance that is upgraded to 3 cm.

"As a crossover in the premium compact class, the appearance of the A3 allstreet is very unique," said Stephan Fahr-Becker, Team Leader of the exterior Design Audi AG, as reported on the company's official website, Wednesday, March 13.

Meanwhile, the latest A3 cars with Sportback and Sedan variants are getting improvements on the front with large side air insertions. The back also offers the impression of sporty with a new bumper and a distinctive diffuser.

The A3 allstreet comes with a dark rocker side skirt and trim in the lower door area, increasing its solid look with an increase in ground clearance. The suspension itself is 15 mm higher than the Sportback variant.

Spring tuning offers a very good balance between high driving comfort and precision driving experience. This is coupled with a 17-inch standard rim look. Audi also provides 18-inch and 19-inch rims as an option.

Both models are equipped with a 10.1-inch touchscreen as well as a virtual Audi cockpit and inductive smartphone charger. In addition to the two USB-C charging ports on the front center console, two additional ports behind are also available as standard.

Audi offers A3 with two powertrain options, one of which is 35 TFSI with a 1.5 liter gasoline engine capable of producing 150 ps of transmission of seven S-accelerations of Tronic automatically joins a mild-hybrid system.

Meanwhile, the 35 TDI diesel engine offers the same 2.0 liter capacity and power. The option of gasoline and other diesel engines will be added in the future, and the PHEV variant will be launched towards the end of the year.

The car will be manufactured at the Audi Ingolstadt, Germany, and priced from 35,650 euros (around Rp606.7 million) for the standard model, while the allstreet variant is released at a price of 37,450 euros (around Rp637.4 million).
