MG Records Sales Of 1,668 Car Units At IIMS 2024, This Model Is The Best Selling

JAKARTA - MG Motor Indonesia recorded a slick achievement in the IIMS 2024 event, by recording 1,668 Vehicle Ordering Letters (SPK).

Based on data received by VOI, strong dominance was shown by MG 4 EV with 1,125 SPK, followed by New MG ZS EV, and MG Motor Indonesia's Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) vehicle line.

During the 11 days of the IIMS 2024 event, visitors were witnessing the extraordinary enthusiasm of visitors, who were interested in advanced technology and MG vehicle design.

The MG 4 EV, in particular, stole attention because it was produced locally and offered at a special price of IDR 423,000,000 and life insurance of batteries for the first 3,000 consumers. This announcement adds to the attractiveness of the MG 4 EV, attracts more visitors to the crowded MG booth and strengthens MG's position as a leader in the electric vehicle segment in Indonesia.

More than 500 thousand visitors to IIMS 2024 who also stopped by visiting the MG booth, were very interested in the various electric vehicles offered, ranging from EV crossovers, compact SUVs, MPVs, to station wagons.

Meanwhile, the opportunity to test drive also attracted the great attention of visitors where MG 4 EV and New MG ZS EV became the main stars, signaling the shift in Indonesia's consumer preferences towards more sustainable mobility.

MG's achievements are not limited to sales figures. Previously, MG had won the 'The Best EV MPV' award for MG Maxus 9 and 'The Best EV Crossover' for MG 4 EV, reaffirming the innovation and quality of MG products in the automotive market. Participation from government representatives, including President Joko Widodo and other high-ranking officials, shows interest and support for MG's efforts in promoting environmentally friendly vehicles in Indonesia.
