Electric SUV Three Rows Of Hyundai Ioniq 7 Confirmed To Launch Central This Year

JAKARTA - After showing the concept version and being caught on camera several times in a road trial, the electric SUV based on Seven Concept will be launched soon.

Reporting from ArenaEV, Wednesday, February 21, the vehicle, known as Ioniq 7, will be the first three-line electric SUV of the South Korean brand, expanding the company's scope in the family transportation market with its unique style and latest technology.

The Korean car company has set an official date for Ioniq 7's debut on June 27, which will be held at the 2024 Busan Motor Show. This car will use the same E-GMP platform as Hyundai's Ioniq 5 success.

Official specifications of the powertrain are still kept secret, but it is likely that there will be a choice of battery size (between 75 kWh to 100 kWh) as well as a rear wheel drive model and the entire wheel. As seen in EV9, it is hoped that DC's fast charging capability, which has the potential to increase the distance of up to hundreds of miles in less than 30 minutes.

As is well known, Hyundai's Ioniq has been known for its unique and striking design, combining retro-chic forces with futuristic touch. Ioniq 7 seeks to continue this trend by developing an attractive pixel lighting design, a very wide roof line, and interior from the concept of the "Seven" car to something that will soon be witnessed.

While some of the more eccentric features of concepts such as rotating chairs and multiple screens may not materialize in the final, it is hoped that there will be a strong emphasis on futuristic luxury in the inside of the car.

As additional information, PT Hyundai Motors Indonesia (HMID) also brought this concept to the IIMS 2024 event. Seven's concept of carrying the Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) style and affirming the company's vision as a leader in the electrification of the automotive sector in Indonesia in the future. The presence of this model is also a momentum for companies in presenting more electric vehicles in Indonesia.
