Honda Launches BR-V Special Edition At IIMS 2024 For IDR 319 Million, What's The Difference?

JAKARTA - PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) officially introduced the latest edition for the BR-V model at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2024, namely BR-V N7X Edition.

Naming N7X comes from a version of the All-New BR-V concept, named N7X Concept, which was featured several years ago.

"We want to present a Honda BRV like the N7X concept that we launched a few years ago. This is a BR-V N7X edition," said Yusak Billy, as Sales & Marketing and Aftersales Director of PT HPM on launch day at IIMS 2024, Thursday, February 15.

Mentioned by the company, this car offers the Sand Khaki color, where this option is quite in demand by HR-V users, who display a black roof. Thanks to this positive response, the manufacturer provided it in this edition model.

The most visible difference with standard BR-V is the goal design resembling the concept version and decorated with the 'N7X' badge.

In addition to appearing with the latest color, the rim part of this car also looks newer by presenting a touch of dual tone to a striking black gloss.

Just like other models, BR-V is also presented with Honda Sensing technology which includes Road Departure Mitigation System (RDM), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Auto High Beam (AHB), Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS), Lane Keeping Assist, and Lead-Car Departure Notification. This is coupled with other features such as Anti-Lock Braking System, Electronic Brake Distribution, Hill-Start Assist Control, Near Parking Sensors, Engine Check Warning, and others.

Equipped with a 1.5 liter 4-cylinder DOHC 16 valve engine, the car can generate up to 119 dk of power and a 145 Nm torque.

For the price, the SUV is priced at IDR 319 million on the Jakarta OTR.

During 2023, the SUV segment dominated Honda's car sales with BR-V occupying second place in this class totaling 18,104 units, just below his brother, HR-V with a total of 24,736 units sold.
