PT Chery Sales Indonesia (CSI) took part in the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2024, bringing various models such as Omoda including Omoda E5 (electric car) and the Tiggo series.

In addition, at this annual exhibition event, Chery will also introduce a new variant of the Tiggo series, namely 5X. This was revealed by the Head of Public Relations of PT CSI Rifkie Setiawan.

"At IIMS 2024 we will bring a variant of the product that has been planned for a long time, namely Tiggo 5X which is the line up of the Tiggo SUV," he said, in Jakarta, Tuesday, February 6.

A total of seven unit displays will be brought in by Chery at the exhibition which will take place from February 15 to 25, at JIEXPO Kemayoran, Jakarta consisting of Omoda RZ Blue, Omoda GT White to Town, Omoda E5 Green, Omoda 5 White, Tiggo 7 Pro Red, Tiggo 8 Pro Max Black and Tiggo 5X White.

As is known, currently the latest model that will be introduced by Chery, namely Tiggo 5X, is already present in neighboring the Philippines. In the Philippine market, the car is present in a hybrid version. In addition, in some countries, there are also different engine variations.

Of course, it is possible that the model that will be brought to Indonesia will be a hybrid version (such as the Philippine market), because the government continues to intensify environmentally friendly vehicles in the country. However, it cannot be a benchmark because each market has a different segmentation.

"Our sales are mostly on IIMS, CSI triggers to be able to increase sales and be closer to automotive consumers," he added.
