JAKARTA - After being caught on camera several times being tested by the road, the Suzuki Jimny 5 door finally officially launched in the Philippines offering two variants.

Quoting from the Top Gear PH page, Saturday, January 27, just as predicted before its official launch, Jimny 5 doors to the GL MT variant were priced at 1,558,000 pesos or around Rp436 million. Meanwhile, the GLX AT variant is at 1,698,000 pesos or Rp475 million.

Suzuki also offers a two-tone color for Jimny 5 doors, but each prospective consumer has to spend more, which increases the cost of 10,000 pesos (IDR 2.8 million).

The design is not much different from the three-door version. Seen in the front facilities, front and rear bumpers, engine hoods to wheel arches that are indeed similar. It's just that, it has a longer dimension.

This version of the Jimny 5 door comes with a 1.5 liter gasoline engine, which produces 100 hp and 130 Nm torque power, which is paired with a five-speed manual transmission, or an automatic six speed that is channeled to four wheels as standard.
