Ford Mustang Starring In '2 Fast 2 Furious' Movie Auctioned, Estimated Price

Automotive lovers are definitely familiar with the film 2 Fast 2 Furious, the second sequel to the Fast & Furious franchise starring well-known actor Paul Walker, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, and Eva Mendes. Apart from starring some seasoned actors, the film is also decorated with various eccentric vehicles.

One of the cars starring in the film is now entering the auction market, namely the 2002 Ford Mustang. The model adorns several scenes in this cinema, including scenes when this car had to have a truck accident while driving on the toll road.

Reporting from Carscoops, Thursday, December 28, the car that was sold was a repair version after being crushed by a large truck in a film scene. The fix was completed by Mason's Hotrods and Hobbies in South Carolina, USA.

The Ford Mustang has an interesting color, Liz-Stick-Red, equipped with a modified Saleen S281. The tuning includes a carbon fiber hood, a mid-rapid exhaust, and a rear bumper with the striking writing 'Saleen'.

One of the American Muscle cars offers an odometer condition with a distance of 941 km. Under the engine hood, this Mustang has a 4.6 liter V8 engine with a rear wheel drive integrated into automatic transmission. The top of the machine is given a 2F2F plate which shows the car has starred in the film.

In addition, the performance of this vehicle is also improved, including the braking, suspension, and seat system, so that drivers feel the sensation of optimal driving on the Mustang.

Having a history of competing in a well-known film, of course this car is the target item for collectors. Sold by Mecum Auctions, the estimated price of this model is between 60,000 US dollars and 90,000 US dollars (equivalent to Rp925.2 million to Rp1.3 billion).
