All New Honda CR-V RS E: HEV Complementing Sports Hospital In Indonesia

Launched at the 2023 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) August, All New Honda CR-V immediately received a positive response in the Indonesian market. Moreover, the company also brought its first hybrid variant to Indonesia, namely All New Honda CR-V RS e: HEV.

In addition to marking the first step in marketing the first hybrid vehicle in Indonesia, this type also adds a 'RS' line that is sporty in Indonesia this year, after previously Honda introduced City Hatchback RS, HR-V Turbo Hospital, Civic RS, Brio RS, and WR-V RS.

"Honda always displays the characteristics of the sporty car character, which is one of the DNA of Honda products," said Yusak Billy, as Sales & Marketing and Aftersales Director of PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM), in a statement received by VOI, Wednesday, October 18.

In contrast to the pure gasoline-engine turbo variant, the All New Honda CR-V RS e: HEV has a sporty and more aggressive look with aero kits at the front consisting of a front goal and a bumper bottom spoiler.

Then, the side is equipped with a Black Door Mirror, Side Under Spoiler, and a 19-inch alloy rim. Meanwhile, the back of the car is also equipped with a Rear Under Spoiler and Tailgate Spoiler which combines body colors with a black piano.

Moving to the interior, the SUV combines a touch of premium and sporty where the car cabin uses a sporty color of the hospital, which is black combined with red accents in various car angles ranging from dashboards, door panels, steering wheels, seat (Leather Trimmed Seats with RedCHInes), Center Console Boxes, Shift Knob and Sport Pedal.

Carrying Honda's hybrid technology, All New Honda CR-V RS e: HEV has a 2.0 liter 4-cylinder Atkinson Cycle DOHC in collaboration with two electric motors, generating up to 204 dk of power and 335 Nm of torque and 1.06 kWh of lithium-ion battery.

Since its launch, the hybrid variant has become a favorite of various parties, where this type contributes about 70 percent of the total bookings for the All New Honda CR-V model in Indonesia. This car was distributed to consumers on October 6.

Speaking of prices, the CR-V RS e: HEV is priced at IDR 804.9 million On The Road Jakarta by signaling the manufacturer's move towards the premium segment. Of course, this price is more expensive than the Wuling Almaz RS Pro Hybrid worth IDR 438 million and the Toyota Corolla Cross GR Sport HEV with a tag of IDR 608.4 million.
