Great Success, Mitsubishi Record SPK 3,700 Units At GIIAS 2023 Dominated By XForce

JAKARTA - The 2023 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) has ended with many impressive achievements.

Many automotive manufacturers in Indonesia achieved success in the event, including Mitsubishi, which successfully launched its newest SUV model, XForce, at GIIAS 2023. Under the auspices of PT Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Sales Indonesia (MMKSI), this Japanese manufacturer managed to collect 3,700 units of Vehicle Ordering Letters (SPK).

Of this number, Mitsubishi XForce was able to contribute the largest contribution with 1,100 units or about 30 percent of Mitsubishi's total achievements during GIIAS 2023.

The President Director of PT MMKSI, Atsushi Kurita, revealed that the highest variant of XForce, namely Ultimate CVT, dominates the number of SPKs with 95 percent. This makes Kurita very optimistic that XForce can reach a sales figure of 10,000 units by the end of the year.

"We have been opening orders since May, so for consumers who order from pre-order to GIIAS yesterday, MMKSI will try to start sending them in November with a target year-end completion," said Kurita in her statement.

In addition, MMKSI also plans to bring Mitsubishi XForce to 10 major cities in Indonesia to introduce it to the wider public.

"We will introduce this vehicle to more cities in Indonesia so that consumers outside Jakarta can also see this vehicle firsthand. In total, more than 10 major cities in Indonesia will be visited by XForce," added Kurita, quoted from ANTARA, Tuesday, August 22.

With the motto "Infinite Excitement," Mitsubishi XForce offers a variety of attractive features and a tough design, all packed in a compact framework.

Despite being compact, this SUV, known as the "The New SUV," provides a vast space with a length dimension of 4,390 mm, a width of 1,810 mm, and a height of 1,660 mm, as well as a capacity of five seats. XForce provides extraordinary performance and control, while maintaining uncompromised comfort through a wide interior space, fulfilling consumer expectations and wishes.

Mitsubishi has also introduced a number of flagship features that will be included in its latest SUV ahead of launch. One of the interesting features is various driving modes, such as Normal, Gravel, Wet, and Mud.

Mitsubishi is also collaborating with Yamaha to present the audio system "Dynamic Sound Yamaha Premium," which will provide quality entertainment for car users.

Mitsubishi XForce will be powered by a 1.5 liter 4-cylinder DOHC 16 valve engine paired with CVT transmission that drives the front wheel (FWD). This machine is capable of generating 104 dk of power and torques reaching 141 Nm.

The price for the Mitsubishi XForce starts at IDR 379.9 million for the Exceed CVT variant, while the highest variant, Ultimate CVT, is priced at IDR 412.9 million.
