JAKARTA - Opel Rocks-e, a small, Citroen Ami-based vehicle, has attracted public attention as an urban microcarf since its introduction in August 2021.

In addition to the standard version, Opel has also presented a cargo version of Rocks-e designed for goods and packages. However, Opel didn't stop there and is now introducing another variant of this car.

Reporting on Stellantis' official website on Thursday, June 22, Opel introduced Rocks e-Xtreme, a variant with significant changes. Unlike the previous version, this microcarf comes with an aggressive design.

The design of the e-Xtreme Rocks was made by Lukas Wenzh\"ofer, a student who won the #OpelDesignHack contest by voting. Opel has fulfilled its promise by realizing this radical design.

The designer's inspiration is to provide a fun driving experience on all terrains, especially off-road, with an aggressive design.

The e-Xtreme Rocks have a wider wheel arch, a tubular frame that circles the cabin, and larger tires to increase grip.

Suspension has been modified for extreme conditions and offers high ground clearance. However, there is one interesting element that attracts the attention of automotive lovers.

This modified mini car is equipped with a large rear wing, taken from one of the past DTM Opel racing cars, namely Vectra GTS V8.

Opel Rocks e-Xtreme also has a sturdy front bumper with different LED headlights. Additional LED lights are also installed on the roof frame for extra lighting.

Even though it offers an aggressive design, there is no improvement in the specifications mentioned. This means that the Rocks-e still uses a 5.5 kWh battery pack that can provide a range of up to 75 km in one charge. The electric motor used has up to 8 dk of power.
