Mercedes-Benz Presents Latest Jeep Fighter And Mini Aceman Challengers In 2026

JAKARTA - Mercedes-Benz, a luxury German car brand, is reportedly planning to produce SUV-type vehicles targeting the middle-class off-road vehicle market.

Rumors are old, if Mercedes-Benz will present a smaller SUV that is inspired by the G-Class SUV (Junior G-Class). Reported by Autocar, March 20, Mercedes-Benz SUV vehicles will be produced in 2024 at a more affordable price compared to the high-end SUV model, namely Mercedes-Benz G-Class.

Last year the CEO of the Mercedes-Benz Group, Ola Kallenius, said that he would develop their portfolio with more affordable types of cars. He also said most luxury manufacturers built their portfolios based on one or two true icons. While Mercedes-Benz is lucky to have many iconic products and brands such as S-Class, SL, G-Class, AMG, and Maybach. This, according to him, will help the presence of new Mercedes-Benz models.

There are two machine options offered, namely electric and gasoline. For design, this SUV will feature a slimmer and more modern design. It is believed that when it is launched this vehicle will be the latest Jeep Fighter rival and Mini Aceman.

There is no official information regarding the technical specifications and price of the G-Class Junior. However, if this news is true, it is certain that Mercedes-Benz will have SUVs that can reach a wider market segment and compete in the middle class off-road SUV vehicle market.
