JAKARTA - The legendary Italian car company, Bertone, has launched a new hypercar that is powered by fuel made of plastic waste.

The car called Bertone GB110 is just using 'Select Fuel', a patented method to convert waste polycarbonate materials, such as plastic bottles, into liquid fuel.

Bertone has not disclosed the price for the car, but says the car will be similar to artwork' which allows a series of modifications to suit unique tastes and identities.

In a limited edition only 33 vehicles have been launched to mark Bertone's 110th anniversary, but new cars will be delivered to customers as early as spring 2024.
