Aceng does not need to wait for the work of the special committee of the Garut Regency DPRD to investigate this case. The demands are the same. Aceng was asked to resign. Aceng is considered to have disturbed Garut's moral image. Recently, the demands of the people of Garut asked Aceng to resign to be heard by representatives of the people who sit in the Garut DPRD.

The Garut DPRD agreed to impeach Aceng from his position. The impeachment was carried out because they considered Aceng to have violated his ethics and oath of office. This means that the issue of speedy marriage is not only considered a personal matter. Because, Aceng is a public official.

The climax of the request to dismiss Aceng Fikri as regent was submitted by the Garut DPRD to the Supreme Court (MA). The wishes of Garut residents and the Garut DPRD have finally become a reality. The Supreme Court granted the impeachment of Aceng because it was deemed to have violated the oath of office on January 23, 2013.

The impeachment was greeted with great fanfare. Garut residents also proved that the power of the people could not be underestimated.
