JAKARTA - The founder of the alternative rock group Endank Soekamti collaborated with a number of musicians including Iwan Fals, Fourtwnty, Fiersa Besari, Navicula, Alffy Rev, Home Home, Lighthouse, Klopediakustik, Cikini Tropical Sound, Nualusna, and Endank Soekamti held a campaign entitled "Music For Adventures".

Navicula is known to have carried out a number of campaigns about plastic waste and made a movement. Likewise with Fiersa who is known to love nature and climb mountains. Erix also involves local musicians so that their ideas are heard too.

The musicians were invited to the area of the Ramang-Ramang karst mountain range in Makassar to get new ideas to get inspiration for making songs.

"Fourtwnty even made a new song called 'Ramang-Ramang', they were amazed, the idea was written, arranged, recorded on the spot, then brought to Eiger to be a physical album and distributed, sold, and returned to nature," Erix said as quoted by ANTARA , Saturday, October 23.

Ramang-Ramang is a former mining site that the local community has fought for and is now able to become sustainable again. "This is a community struggle that has succeeded in re-managing its environment. The success is at the same time the sincerity of the community," said Erix.

The results of the "Music For Adventure" campaign, which is also supported by BenihBaik.com, The Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation (BOS Foundation) and Eiger Adventure, are in the form of songs by musicians which are then sold in physical box sets.

Later, 100 percent of the sales proceeds will be donated back to nature, through the BOS Foundation, which focuses on saving orangutans. Sintya Anjani from the BOS Foundation said orangutan rehabilitation requires a lot of funds for feeding, learning so that orangutans can adapt and then be released into the wild.
