Irene Red Velvet And Shin Seung Ho Reunited In Double Patty

JAKARTA - Irene Red Velvet will make her debut in the big screen film, Double Patty. In this latest project, the Red Velvet leader will compete with Shin Seung Ho.

The production company that houses the film, KT, released the first photos of Irene and Joo Hyun on Wednesday, July 22. In the photo, they are reading a script with the rest of the cast and crew of Double Patty.

In the photo, Irene and Seung Ho look compact wearing light colored clothes. They seem to be serious about reading the script to bring their roles to life, where this time Irene will use Bae Joo Hyun as the actor's name.

Double Patty is the first commercial film produced by KT, a telecommunications operator company. The film will be directed by Baek Seung Hwan who won the Best Director award for his first film, The First Shot.

Double Patty tells the life of teenagers who welcome their adulthood with the careers they choose. Irene plays Lee Hyun Ji, a news anchor. Previously, he played in the web-drama Woman at a Game Company in 2016.

Shin Seung Ho, a model who also became an actor, stole attention through various drama projects he did such as A-Teen, Moment at Eighteen, Love Alarm, and most recently How to Bury a Friend.

In this film, he will play Kang Woo Ram, a high school wrestler. Shin Seung Ho and Irene will be meeting to compete in roles for the first time.

Double Patty will begin filming in August and is scheduled to air at the end of the year. After that, Double Patty will be broadcast free of charge to subscribers of Seezn and other streaming services.

The film Double Patty became KT's first project to expand their business into the entertainment industry.
