JAKARTA - Maudy Ayunda plays Jeng Sri in the film Losmen Bu Broto. There was a special reason when Maudy, who was studying in America at that time, was willing to accept the offer to shoot in Indonesia.

When he first received the offer, Maudy Ayunda admitted that he was very happy. Understandably, his mother often watches the soap opera Losmen Bu Broto on TVRI.

"So, when we first talked about shooting this film, I had mixed feelings. Before, my parents, wow, it was a show from my father and mother. They were very happy if I took the role. So I was very, very excited," said Maudy Ayunda in the Epicetrum area, Kuningan. , South Jakarta, Thursday, September 23.

It was not easy for Maudy to adjust the production schedule for this film. The scenario reading is done virtually, but the time also cannot synchronize with American time.

"The reading here is in the afternoon, while in America it's night. On the other hand, I'm nervous about the schedule. How is this a pandemic, I'm still in America, yes, that's what it's called, if you have a mate and all the energy is combined, there is a way," he said.

Luckily, the schedule can be adjusted. When he arrived at the shooting location, Maudy Ayunda admitted that he could immediately click with other players. "It's really fun, maybe at first we were nervous when we got to the location where we got together, it turned out to be really fun," said Maudy Ayunda.

For the sake of shooting in Jogja, Maudy returned to Indonesia for three weeks. "It was three weeks back just to shoot this film in Jogja. We shoot it at the inn. So it's like having your own little world," he said.

Losmen Bu Broto is an Indonesian drama film adaptation of the TVRI series entitled Losmen. The film was produced by Paragon Pictures, Ideosource Entertainment, Fourcolours Films, and Ideoworks.
