JAKARTA - Anneth Delliecia released Bakti which became the original soundtrack for the film Cadet 1945 by director Rahabi Mandra and Aldo Swastia from Temata Studios. Anneth admitted that she was very proud because she was trusted to fill the soundtrack for a film for the first time, especially when she learned that the Cadet 1947 film was a film with the theme of struggle.

The film Cadet 1947 tells the story of a group of youths who are air force students who carry out the first bombing to defend Indonesia's independence during the Dutch military aggression. The film is slated to hit theaters this year.

"This is my first time singing the soundtrack and the song is amazing, very different from the previous songs," said Anneth to the media crew, Wednesday, September 23.

"This is also one of my goals to sing a grand national anthem that young people can enjoy," he continued.

The song Bakti was composed by Melly Goeslaw, who is famous as the queen of soundtracks for popular films in Indonesia. Melly Goeslaw shared that he and one of the producers of the film Cadet 1947, Celerina Judisari, had a long journey before deciding that the song Bakti should be sung by Anneth.

"Honestly, there are several singers who have been chosen to sing this song. Some I think are suitable, but Ai doesn't, or vice versa. But when we came to Anneth, we all agreed immediately," said Melly Goeslaw as quoted by ANTARA.

During the production of songs to music videos, Anneth shared that she really enjoyed the process. Even though she had difficulties during the recording process, Anneth said that everything could still be handled well.

"At that time, the process of shooting the music video was one day and there were rain showers. The results were very satisfying. The struggle that day was quite tiring but very exciting," he said.

Directed by Rahabi Mandra who also directed the film Cadet 1947, the music video for the song Bakti sung by Anneth can now be watched on the RANS Music YouTube channel.
