Jonas Rivanno's Feelings When Called Playing Religion To Marry Asmirandah

JAKARTA - Jonas Rivanno was once the 'enemy' of society when he married Asmirandah in 2013. At that time, there was a photo of Jonas converting to marriage. However, Jonas refused and then returned to embrace Christianity and married in the church.

Jonas admitted that he had converted to Islam when FPI Depok revealed the evidence. "I revoke my previous statement. And, I confirm that it happened (saying the shahada) and I became a convert," Jonas said at a press conference in November 2013.

However, Jonas did not reveal in detail the reason for his apostasy to return to Christianity. "For me, the public can think for themselves. I don't want to add more and subtract," he said.

"The issue of religion is my privacy and I don't want to go into details because it concerns my privacy," he continued.

Sonya Prischilla, her sister, in an interview with Daniel Mananta, finally revealed how Jonas felt when he was seen as playing games with religion. Together with her husband, Donnie ex-Ada Band, Sonya said Jonas believes that God must have a way of helping his people who want to obey.

"Vanno said, 'I have experienced a point where one Indonesian hated me. And what God did was God defended God's way, explained Sonya.
